Reebok is switching things up when it comes to the beloved Question Mid. Eric Manuel put his spin on the classic Allen Iverson signature in 2020 when he dropped his collaboration featuring a pearlized leather pink toe box, which has partially birthed this year's suede 'Pink Toe' Reebok Question Mid in-line drop. Coming in family sizing, the silhouette features a white leather base with pink Reebok branding across the entire upper, toe box and translucent outsole on top a clean Hexalite cushioned midsole. Inspired by vintage running, golf shoes and bowling shoes South Korean artist, G-Dragon's next project with Nike takes originality to a new and unexpected place. With cues from Nike's vintage running lines, golf shoes and bowling shoes, the upcoming Kwondo 1 is not only a play on his government name; Kwon, but is also freedom of expression personified. Something we'd expect to see from Cole Haan, which is under Nike ... the Kwondo 1 takes a wingtip shoe and puts it under the mainstream spotlight. The second iteration kept the spirit of the theme alive but with leathers and skins over fur. The women's exclusive Air Jordan 11 comes back to square one with a faux fur pony hair combination of zebra, leopard and cheetah prints. Out of the bevy of the Sacai x Nike projects that have dropped in 2021, this upcoming holiday offering might take the [festive] cake. The tri-collaborative effort from KAWS x Sacai x Nike brings back the Blazer Low. The double stacked re-imagined silhouette comes across four colorways; 'Neptune Blue', 'Team Red', 'Purple Dusk' and 'Reed'. From the man himself. Salehe Bembury's upcoming Crocs collaboration comes at just the right time for designer and brand alike. As Bembury's star continues to brighten, so does that of the Crocs brand; which has found itself in a renaissance of sorts in 2021. Crocs are officially cool. And Crocs are also drawing inspiration for other such designs. Salehe, takes the staple Crocs design and completely revamps the upper for a look unlike anything the brand has offered before. It's fresh, it's unique to both man and brand. As the release draws near - Salehe took to Instagram to reveal participating retailers of the collaborative project. Back for its 20th anniversary. Twenty years ago, MJ laced up his signatures for the third and final stanza of his GOAT career. With the trip to Washington came the opportunity to create a bevy of new colorways during the era, perhaps the most famous of that - the 'Cool Grey' Air Jordan 11. Releasing in 2001, the cult classic would return nine years later in 2010 and until this year was locked in the vault. Returning with the same refined and remastered upper we've seen from the Air Jordan 11 since 2016; the colorway is given an OG feel of the Air Jordan 11 molds from the original mid-90s run. Complete with the high patent leather mudguard, but returns qualities seen from the previous two releases of a crisp, clean nubuck. Inspired by the realities of daily life in Black communities. James Whitner and the overall team at The Whitaker Group have done a remarkable job in their storytelling and branding in 2021. The elevation in both have placed A Ma Maniére and Social Status in a class of their own. The follow-up to arguably the sneaker of the year with their Air Jordan 3 Retro from March, the storefront takes on the Air Jordan 1 High. Detailed with cracked leather, snakeskin textures, across a Sail and Bordeaux motif, the Air Jordan 1 is the luxurious and ominous rose that grew from the concrete.
