Inspired by vintage running, golf shoes and bowling shoes
South Korean artist, G-Dragon's next project with Nike takes originality to a new and unexpected place. With cues from Nike's vintage running lines, golf shoes and bowling shoes, the upcoming Kwondo 1 is not only a play on his government name; Kwon, but is also freedom of expression personified. Something we'd expect to see from Cole Haan, which is under Nike ... the Kwondo 1 takes a wingtip shoe and puts it under the mainstream spotlight. From its crisp white leather base to its stark black accents, and soccer-inspired flap hiding the laces at the top of the tongue from view. The Kwondo 1 is for everyone, it's for all.
