You are now watching the throne ...
The year is 2011, "Watch the Throne" just dropped and "Otis" is on full blast ... and Nike is busy at work crafting one of the most regal and dynamic sample PEs we've yet to see. Taking cues from Riccardo Tisci's design of the album cover, LeBron James' king moniker and relationship with Jay-Z and the luxury rap and Black excellence themes of the 12-track album - the LeBron 9 of the same nickname was birthed.
For a decade the sample was kept as just that - until now as official images of the elegant black and metallic gold signature is primed for lift off. Be sure to follow Sole-U on Twitter and Instagram for updates.
Update: The 'Watch the Throne' LeBron 9 dropped at a limited number of retailers on December 1st, and will see a wider release on Thursday, January 6th. See the list of retailers below.
