With the brand's announcement on Monday, Patta's program with Nike is officially back. The initial quartet of Air Max 1 releases in 2021, dubbed "The Wave", now gives space to "The Next Wave". Taking roots in African culture, the proverb of "each one teach one" births the upcoming 'Dark Russet' iteration and the anticipated, forthcoming white colorway.
As previously mentioned, the 'Dark Russet' color scheme doubles down on the brownish palette but does so with a leather wavy overlay mudguard that is reminiscent of wingtip hard bottoms. As well as the toned leather layered across the upper and heel with a metallic silver mesh underlay. The fifth colorway in the program will release on Friday, August 12th at Patta both online and in-store, SNKRS (EU) and in-store at Thesis in Johannesburg.
