- NOCTA x Nike Hot Step Release Date
At long last ... Since returning to the Swoosh in [somewhat] dramatic fashion, Drake's long awaited NOCTA Nike Hot Step finally is set for release. The brand-new silhouette is the first signature for the brand and grabs multiple cues from the early 2000s and designs of that era. From the mold and shape of the trainer, to the lines and minimalistic design; the model really scores its look as a remixed Air Terra Humara. Armed with reflective 3M touches to play to the nocturnal ethos of NOCTA, the silhouette rests comfortably atop a heel Air unit and G-TEK traction composed outsole. Release of the Hot Step is set to take place on March 3rd globally. See the stock listing below. NOCTA x Nike Hot Step White/White-White DH4692-100 3. 3. 22. $180

The luxurious game Soccer, as we say in the States and football as the world knows it has been dubbed "The beautiful game" and understandably so. There is a fluidity and artistry to the mastery of the sport. From the dribbling and footwork to the footwear, the equalizing header for a goal – down to the kit itself ... its beauty is personified throughout the game and for Stockholm football club, AIK beauty is tied to luxury. As official outfitter, Nike collaborates with the club to supply the squad and fans alike with a majestic kit compromised of dark-blue and gold with dynamic accenting touches, including a tonal map of Stockholm which tie together the royal theme. Which also is a callback to the club's 131-year history and the royal protection of the club from the Swedish Royal Family. Additionally, in an act of good faith – proceeds from the preseason kit sales will benefit Stadium Sports Camp, a non-profit organization charged with providing children opportunities in sports. - Oski x Nike SB Dunk High 'Great White' Release Info
You are now entering deep waters The follow-up to 2019's 'Black' Oski x Nike SB Dunk High is dropping soon. And whether you're in the deep waters of the ocean where the Great White Shark inhabits or navigating the treacherous waters of the sneaker game, the premise is all the same ... you don't hunt the Great White, it hunts you. The first iteration of this SB Dunk collaboration turned heads, thanks to the traditional Swoosh being altered to resemble a shark of the same contouring, and since then fans have been longing for a sequel. This rendition sinks its jaws into a white leather Dunk High (and Low for the kids); the ying to the original black suede's yang. Still carrying the depiction of the shark swimming along the lateral and medial walls, with a slight hint of bloody red found on the tongue tag and midsole stitching. Release was officially confirmed via the Oski Instagram page for March 12th at select skate shops worldwide. Stick with Sole-U for further details on the upcoming drop. - This VaporMax Plus Celebrates 50 Years of the Swoosh
Since 1972. As the story goes, before Nike was Nike and the Swoosh was the iconic logo of the Beaverton, Oregon conglomerate; it was Blue Ribbon Sports. Back when Phil Knight was (legally) trapping out of the back of a Volkswagen Bus, the empire came from humble small town beginnings. What has withstood the test of time; produced some of the world's most iconic designs in footwear, launched memorable campaigns and endorsed the world's greatest athletes is that of the Swoosh. As we have come to know as Nike a/k/a the Greek goddess of victory. For what has seemed like some time now, the Nike VaporMax certainly has some miles on its proverbial tires and celebrates five decades of the Swoosh with a fun motif. Mirroring the 'Unholy Cumulus' or 'Poppy' Air Presto is this VaporMax Plus with its white base and minty cage and darker green midsole and Air unit. But the homage is inside; on the insole with Nike Since 1972 printed with fun-loving stars accompanying the typeface. No exact word on a release date. For now scroll through the official images.
- Packer Shoes x adidas Forum '84 Hi Collection
Flash back to 1984 Packer Shoes x adidas are inviting to come along in their time machine and travel all the way back to 1984. Back then, Ghostbusters was the highest-grossing film; Prince had the two longest running no. 1 songs with "When Doves Cry" and "Let's Go Crazy", and the Boston Celtics claimed the NBA Championship in the summer. 1984 was also quite the year for footwear, with adidas staking its claim in the basketball space thanks to Jacques Chassaing's Forum silhouette. Its popularity led to it becoming the official sneaker of Team USA in the '84 Olympic Games. Packer Shoes channels the feeling from decades prior with a simplistic three-pack. Ironic. Each Forum '84 Hi is dressed in a vintage white leather base with an accenting Collegiate Green, Collegiate Maroon and Collegiate Navy accenting. Scroll though the '84 yearbook images below, as the collection drops exclusively at Packer Shoes both in-store and online on All-Star Friday. - This Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Flips The Script
Nike went all in last year on Ken Griffey Jr.'s debut signature as the model celebrated its 25th anniversary. Dropping all three OG Seattle Mariners based colorways and even adding an homage to the great, Jackie Robinson – the Air Griffey Max 1 had a banner year. And it is poised for a repeat in 2022. This colorway flips the script and inverts the beloved 'Emerald' but carries inspiration from the 'Freshwater' color blocking. But the retro is not entirely true to the color palette. Instead, a lighter Aqua based look adorns the signature retro to create a brand new colorway, but maintains an original nod with the red outlined Swoosh on the tongue tab and heel. Scroll through the official images below as the Air Griffey Max will be dropping presumably in the near future in its new look. Is this a pickup for you? Update: The 'Aquamarine' Nike Air Griffey Max 1 will release on May 12th online at Nike and at select Nike Sportswear retailers. Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Aquamarine/White-Black-Black DQ8578-300 5. 12. 22. $170

Back after a hiatus For nearly two decades, the OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital and Nike have made dreams come true for a select group of individuals. The Doernbecher Freestyle has produced some of the more sought after pairs in its time; from the Air Jordan 6 to the Air Foamposite One, Air Max 95 and a slew of others. After being postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Freestyle program has returned as the hospital announced in January and will be officially unveiled on February 25th. We know thanks to leaks that the Air Jordan 5 Low is part of the collection for 2022, designed by 11-year old Michael Wilson; but what else will accompany it in the 17th Doernbecher Freestyle collection?
