New twist on a '90s classic
There is perhaps no greater era of Nike Basketball than the mid-1990s ... the silhouettes, the signature athletes, the aura that was around hardwood footwear at that time was unlike anything we've seen. In the midst of that was a silhouette, made popular in-part by Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame point guard, Jason Kidd – the Nike Air Zoom Flight 95.
With its iconic "bug eyes" nestled into the midsole, exposed carbon fiber plating, basketball-like wavy stitching across the nubuck upper, the silhouette is a continued favorite no matter the year Nike chooses to retro it. With the OG 'Black/White' palette returning in the very near future, Supreme is first to the punch with a completely new and dynamic twist on the classic model.
Paisley prints found on bandanas swarm the upper and midsole across three monochromatic color schemes. The traditional nubuck is upgraded to a thicker suede across a Black, University Blue and Hemp; coupled with Supreme branding on the tongue and around the bug eye in the midsole.
