Air Jordan 36 'Flight School'

Since the Air Jordan 31, Jordan Brand made the cognizant decision to truly revisit the first three decades of Air Jordan signature models, and infuse brand DNA and heritage into the line. The ethos extends to the present day with the Air Jordan 36. In the time since 2016, we've seen the newest silhouettes borrow design cues from their predecessors, colorways, but the Air Jordan 36 adds a deeper element to the storytelling; and travels back to 1991 with an original Air Jordan 6 ad – printed across the upper. Michael Jordan's Flight School is the name of his fabled basketball camp, but also served as a friendly play on words for an advertising campaign back then. The Flight School look would return on the 'Infrared' Jordan Spizike from 2010 – with the iconic graphics and typography printed on the inner lining of the release. And with an accompanying retro card. (Bring back retro cards, Jordan Brand 🙏🏾)

Thirty-one years since the Air Jordan 6, Jordan Brand returns the 36 to the Flight School look with the prints plastered across the white, black upper, adorned with Infrared 23 accents; which speaks to the times. Release is scheduled for June 9th at select retailers. Are you ready to take flight?
