Life imitates art.
When Joe Freshgoods posted via his Instagram account that this upcoming fourth project with New Balance will effectively close the chapter on this stanza with the Massachusetts brand, the general public (instinctively) believed that this was the swan song for the two. But fear not, the collaboration is not going anywhere as Robinson (Freshgoods) was appointed the brand's creative director earlier this year.
Three soft palette New Balance 993s are releasing and are "made to wear well". From the colored suede crafting, muted mesh underlayer, and an aged yellowish midsole and matching laces. An oceanic blue is coupled alongside a blushing pink and earthy olive green – all with 'Vintage Rose' accenting outlining the "N" along the side panels.
Release of the upcoming collaboration is slated for Friday, October 21st online at Joe Freshgoods' webshop along with the capsule collection and in-store at Every Now And Then. Additionally, the Blue and Margarita (green) color schemes will be available in unisex sizing online at New Balance at 10 am ET.
