Joe Freshgoods recently announced his newly minted position as Creative Director at New Balance; it marks the first time he's held the position apart from his own brand. The lead project, "Conversations Amongst Us" is a take on the Black experience and conversations within the Black community that will inspire the next generation of creatives. Featured within this campaign in large is the New Balance 2002R. Joe will oversee the direction of the campaign, and as for the NB 2002R, it features a white canvas base with varying hues of yellow and khaki accenting the upper, while a solid gum outsole rests underneath. Additionally, New Balance made a $10,000 donation to Freshgoods' Community Goods, benefitting programming efforts – not limited to mentorship, community events and internships.
