"Grey Runs in the Family."
A word we tend to throw around and talk about in the sneaker community often is, "clean". And that is the most accurate descriptor when discussing the DTLR x New Balance 990v3. Dubbed 'Greyscale', this runner is an aesthetic beauty, a masterclass in color blocking.
Stylized as "GR3YSCALE" the collaboration which was designed in-house by DTLR's June Sanders, and utilizes multiple tones along the scale from stark black to light grey – nearly white, the project is the personification that simplicity is timeless. From the clean lines, premium suede and leather tooling of the DMV staple runner, to the rich displays of shading that is blocked abound; everything about this drop screams ... CLEAN. Also featured is a split-colored ENCAP midsole and of course, in true New Balance fashion, reflective 3M hits find their home on this project as well.
DTLR will be dropping their newest New Balance project this week, with early access for DTLR members coming on Wednesday, February 22nd. Launch date is Friday, February 24th on DTLR exclusively in toddlers, preschool, grade school and men's sizing.
