adidas CRAZY 97 EQT 'SLAM DUNK CONTEST' RETURNING

Kobe's Slam Dunk Contest kicks are back

Twenty-five years is quite a long time and a lot can happen in that time. It's being reported that Kobe Bryant's 1997 Slam Dunk Contest-winning adidas silhouette is returning in 2022 for its 25th anniversary. In the wake of Bryant's estate choosing not to renew his contract with Nike, a little over a year after his passing – the door was then left open for his adidas silhouettes and signatures to possibly return and that is exactly what we have with the Lakers-themed adidas EQT Elevation.

Retaining the "Crazy" moniker that the Three Stripes has adopted since Bryant left the company for sneaker free agency and Nike thereafter, the silhouette returns to the place it first gained notoriety; Cleveland. Releasing in February 2022 coinciding with the NBA All-Star Game's return to the city for its 75th anniversary, as it did in '97 for the league's 50th anniversary. Peep the images below and stick with Sole-U for more info as it comes forth.
